Tucker Torpedo Conceptual Vehicle - a First in Over 64 years
An article posted from Motoramic, describes how a small crew of six people from Ida Automotive have undertaken the ambitious project of creating the first Tucker in 64 years. Although, this venture is a first for another significant reason as not only are they building a Tucker, but they are creating the Tucker Torpedo, which was never built and was only a concept car in 1946. The Torpedo project is the most labor intensive project the company has undertaken with only a few handful crude drawings and a quarter-scale plaster model as a guide. This ambitious project is further complicated as it will be built with a 1946 mentality but with present-day technology. The Torpedo is projected to be completed in late 2014 or early 2015 and will be well received by car enthusiasts everywhere.
