Oh the weather outside was frightful, but inside was so delightful …. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
I had the pleasure of attending our FEMAP-themed Live Event at the Maritime Institute near Baltimore on the 11th, and was very excited to see some of our great customers show up for the event; one coming from as far away as Wallops Island, MD. And yes, during the event it snowed outside … a very cool thing for a guy from SoCal!
Ryan Herron shared a presentation on SDC Verifier … and the group was very impressed with the report generation functionality and the automation to schedule and manage a large number of multiple load case analyses.

Jack Danylik spent close to an hour sharing Tips & Tricks on leveraging the FEMAP API programming interface; and Andy Haines from the FEMAP team at Siemens jumped in with some advanced suggestions to address customer challenges.

And finally, Mark Sherman … “the Godfather” of FEMAP … shared the development team’s roadmap of what’s coming up in the next few versions; and examples of “What’s New” in FEMAP 11.2. Mark Sherman, Andy Haines and Saratech’s Dan Nadeau answered questions from the attendees; and it was wonderful to see how the FEMAP guys took notes on what the users were bringing up as enhancements! It’ll be interesting to see which of those suggestions make it into upcoming versions of FEMAP.
I’m looking forward to Saratech’s next event with FEMAP and SDC Verifier in Texas early next year!
